Powering On Issues with Droid X

I was having issues with the BACK button so I turned the phone off. When I turned it on it wouldn't get past the red Motorola M.
I took the battery out and tried again, it still didn't get passed that part. I put it on the charger, eventhough, it had a good charge before intially turning it off, and still won't load past that point. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Only thing I can think of now is to boot into recovery and then wipe everything.
