I purchased EasyTether Pro yesterday after first testing the free lite version, and it is working fine. I am able to surf the net, check email, do banking etc etc on my netbook, all without rooting my DX.
While I would love to root GB on DX, EasyTether is a good solution for my needs.
I was wondering if anyone has a procedure for running PPTP VPN using EasyTether.
Mobile-Stream, which offers the EasyTether app, says I can start a PPTP tunnel from my DX, which I have done, then launch easytether and my netbook would have access to the tunnel. Here is a link that briefly describes that step :
