problem linking facebooks

Haven't had any problems linking facebook accounts to contacts until now. When i try to link a facebook account to a contact now, i go through the linking process and that persons facebook doesn't appear when i type their name in or scroll to search for them.

How can i get this working again?

Have you tried a clean up on gmail.com with your contacts? If you log onto Gmail.com (on your PC) and click the contacts tab you'll see all your contacts listed. Click on the "More actions" button then choose "Find & merge duplicates..." which will eliminate any redundant contacts.

This only works if you put 1st and Last names for your contacts in your phone. It won't just find/merge all "Jenny's" in your phone book.
