Problem with picture messages?

I have tried this in handcent and the stock messaging. If I try to send just a pic with no text it will not send it. If I add text to the message it goes through. Anyone else have this problem or is my droid just crazy?

I do it all the time, did it today, no issues, everyone got the pix I sent without any blithering in the message field

I had the same problem. Adding text to message seems to work, but I could not receive pictures from people either. Uninstalled handcent and everything works fine with droid messaging. I love handcent, but have to wait until it is fixed.
