Problem with receiving e-mail

I have a go-daddy based e-mail account. The problem I am having is that when I download e-mails into my droid it is pulling down every e-mail in my in-box -- even the e-mails I have already opened. I check my e-mail mainly via the internet. When I am out of the office and I want to pull down e-mail to my droid I only want any new and unopened e-mail to be pulled in -- not ALL my e-mail that is on the go-daddy in box. Does anyone know how I can just pull down the unopened e-mail? Thanks.
