Problem with sbf file recovery

I did something stupid I know. I downloaded leaked gingerbread and then i used gingerbreak to root it. It was simple but now it is aggravating me. When i try to (show device) on rsd lite it dont do nothing. I have updated drivers and all but it doesnt recognize the phone at all when i plug it up USB in recovery or when it is on. I have noticed that the recovery boot is different as in you have to hit side volume buttons together instead of search button. I NEED HELP, PLEASE

Boot into the bootloader; pull battery and reinstall, hold volume up, volume down and power for a few seconds then release.

Are you running vista or windows 7? Are you running rsd lite 4.9? (You should be). Are you running rsd lite as administrator?(you should be).
