Problems with the My Maps Editor

Google maps can work with an app that Google also released called My Maps Editor. Well, I used it a while ago no problems, but then recently it stopped working. I was wondering if anyone had that problem with it. Right when i boot the app up from the app drawer, it loads and you can see the grid of the maps start, and then it just stops. Doesn't say it forces close or anything, it just shuts down. I really want to be able to use this app again! Anyone have a similar problem? Might it have something to do with google Maps or just the app itself?

This app broke with Froyo, and Google hasn't released a fix.

Super bummed out that it hasn't been fixed. I used that app pretty frequently. Hopefully google will get down with their updates and hook us back up. Thank you SGTiger

I'm super bummed as well. I've been waiting to plan my upcoming (in 2 weeks) cross country move with this. I kno paper maps are great, and an atlas can work fine, but I was kind of hoping for the voice nav. Ill survive w/o, but it woulda made the trip easier, and less cluttered w/o a big ol atlas. anyone kno of a RELIABLE substitute that can be used in gmaps? I've tried everything free in the market that came up under a "waypoint" search (and a few others). I kno the market isn't all the available apps, but couldn't find anything new.
Ps. I don't have, or have access to, any computer... my rooted and o/ced droid is my comp. Hm... maybe I can go back to a 2.1 rom, make my route on the map... but will I be able to use my map in gmaps w/o the my maps editor once I flash back to froyo? Sry for the unorganized post
