Hello.

So, I'm not entirely sure when it started, but it's become more and more apparent. When I open (lets say the Facebook app) and it's loading, I go to the 'News Feed' area, and it's acting like it's still loading... but then it automatically goes back to the 'Home' screen (still in the app). I touch nothing. At first I thought it was just the Facebook app... but it does it in the Maps app, sometimes the Browser, and... I can't think of anything else off the top of my head at 2am. lol

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? Anyone else having this issue?

Oh! A major one. When I click on the text icon (using LauncherPro) at the bottom... half the time it acts like it's opening up, but then just goes straight back to the actual home screen. It's quite annoying.

FRG22(D, I think... can't remember if I actually upgraded to the FRG22D or not).

Chevy Kernel

Thanks for any help in advance. :)

Sounds like you are rooted so why not install SPRecovery, do a backup, then do a factory data reset, then restore your backup? Or even more of a shortcut, after installing SPRecovery, just use it's menu system and try clearing your cache only first. Easiest way to install SPRecovery is to get the newet DMUpdater from DroidMod.org and it will download and install it for you.

good luck

Cool. I'll give that a try and report back. Thanks for the help.

Well that didn't fix it.

Another app that closes, Maps. When I'm in the app and do a search, before I can finish typing in what I'm looking for, the entire app just closes.

Any other ideas?

Which 'fix' did you try? The full on factory data reset _should_ fix it.

good luck

Did the factory data reset from the SPRecovery menu. I think I did it correctly. Haha.

I believe he is speaking of the one in the settings menu of the phone.

Oh, I can't remember. But I just installed Ultimate Droid's ROM... so I no longer have this problem. Haha.

Thanks for your help! :)

That was the next step, re-installing your rom or another. Glad you're fix.
