proximity sensor after the update

My droid is working fine except here and there especially after long calls the screen does not lid back when I move the phone away from my face (like a lot of other people who have the same problem). Has anybody noticed that this issues resolved after the update?

Note: my auto dim is off so this is not the solution.

it doesnt do it for me anymore after the update, i think it also stopped after i did a hard reset, i still think it was some app that conflicted but who knows, cant give you a 100% sure answer, did update doesnt happen anymore but might have been a diff issue! Phone is for sure more stable after update and it did get rid of the echo during voice calls for me! so for sure worth it!
