Proximity sensor and hair

I've hung up accidentally on a couple calls now, which led me to investigate a bit. What I found is that my sideburns confuse the proximity sensor - if the sensor over my ear, the display is off. If it's over my sideburns, the display is on. I also tested this with the top of my head - same deal, display stays on.

Has anyone else noticed this? Hopefully it can be fixed.

Same. I find holding it a little lower on my ear helps.
