Hi I hope this is the right part of forum to post. I want to use my PSXDroid save on my PC for FF7 but is there a way to convert the file? The file I have from my SD card is a .ss1 which is the Droid save but how do I find the actual in game save for the game if possible.

Thanks

The .ss1 is a save game state from the emulator itself. You can't transfer a save state to a pc, and there won't ever be a way to do that. You can however transfer the saves on a memory card. Here's a quick 1,2,3 of how to do it:

1) If you haven't get to a point in the game and make an actual save, not a save state, but save your game to the memory card as you would on a normal ps1.
2) Go to your sd card on your pc and open the ".psx4droid" folder. (Note: This won't be the folder you store your games/bios in. It is in the root of the sd card)
3) Copy the 2 files in there out (or just the one for the card you used).
** I am going to assume you are using EPSXE on your pc, if you aren't you may need to do something different but its the only one I've used.
4) Open the epsxe170\memcards\ folder.
5) Paste your memorycards from the droid into this folder.
6) Erase the 2 cards that were already in there.
7) Rename the cards you added to epsxe000.mcr and epsxe001.mcr
8) Now just load up psxe and you can load your saved games and continue on

Best of luck!
