I tried to change the pulldown text through the Liberty toolbox however it does not put my custom text on, and I never had the verizon wirless text in my pulldown to begin with. Does any body have an idea, any ehlp would be greatly appreciated. Here is a pic of my pulldown now.

Same here :(.

Are you putting too many letters in? I think you are only allowed 16 characters.

No the custom text i tried entering was less then 16, then I tried to put it back to the stock text but that didn't work either.

Are you rebooting after hitting SAVE?
and are you running the liberty rom?

It says Liberty v1.0
Just in case I'm misunderstanding,
we are talking about the text when you pull down your status bar, at the top?
i erased it in liberty tool box and saved and rebooted, it still says Liberty v1.0

im just saying if it didnt say liberty or verizon to start, then you cant edit it

Mine does not like themes other than Liberty. If I set my theme back to Liberty my text will even revert to the custom text I had on it.

I believe it is a known bug when not on the original theme. Most of the themes do not accept it.

Probably. I actually changed mine while on the original theme. After I changed it
is when I installed my first theme.

OP, if you're on a theme, revert back to the OG one, change it, and then go
back to the theme. Maybe that'll work.
