Purchase Droid w/o contract

So my niece dropped my father's droid and cracked the screen. My sister is looking to purchase another droid for him but all sources either are quite affordable with a new contract (which we don't want to do) or full retail value (~$500). Does anyone know where to buy a droid without a contract for a reasonable price? ($100-$300ish).
