If you are having problems installing the new maps update:
do this:

su
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 dev/block/mtdblock4 system
rm system/app/Maps.apk (if busybox isn't symlinked it would be busybox rm)
pm uninstall com.google.android.apps.maps
(if you get some sh error do this:
cd system/bin
sh pm uninstall com.google.android.apps.maps)
mount -o ro,remount -t yaffs2 dev/block/mtdblock4 system
sync

then install it from the market. (thanks to JRummy for the fix)

Instructions:

ClockWork
Download Purple Passion for CW
Put in Clockwork Folder
Reboot into Recovery
Install from ZIP
Pick the ZIP
Reboot
Done

SPRecovery
Download Purple Passion for SP
Put in the ROOT of your SDCard
rename the file to "update.zip"
Reboot into recovery
Choose Install
Choose Allow update.zip
Install update.zip
Reboot
Done

My GF loves purple, I hope once I get BB on my incredible I can port this theme for her.

I wont give up my Moto droid, since its faster than the DI. even when overclocked the chip in the DI cant be pushed as hard as we can push our 550mhz stock processor. Dont believe me look in the forums for the N1, thats the same processor thats in many phones out right now. And its barely working above 1200, I can run 1300 on my moto droid it gets warm so I usully like to stay a bit lower but when running side by side tests my moto droid beats both my DI and my friends overclock N1 everytime.

Hoping to pickup either droid2 or shadow in august or so, if that is truely the release time I been reading about. The 700-750mhz processor in that is suppose to be based from the same design as our 550's in the current moto droid. I hope what I read is true.

It's actually purple but it's a dark purple.

There are random little fixes that I still have to do. This is the first release. I still have some work to do on the facebook and twitter widgets. And the dialer has some green that I saw somewhere. I did most of this theme away from my phone, but when I loaded it, I was happy with it enough to release it. There will be updates to it just like the Blue Energy Theme.
