push email slow / not at all

I have noticed over the last few days that the push email (that has been working fine for months) seems to be very slow. Ican see email arrive on my computer and on my Samsung Tab, and then 1/2 - 1 hour later it shows up on my Droid 2 Global. I also noted that if I power the phone down, the email appears to download just before the screen goes off. When I turn the phone back on, the email is in my inbox. I don't remember this being an issue before the OTA update.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem then I downloaded extended controls originally to have a set of customizable toggle switches and it turned out when I activated the auto-sync toggle switch and toggled it to on it made my emails come right through. Maybe try the autosync toggle or a factory data reset. Maybe someone else can come up with a simpler solution but I hope this can help
