QR Code Reader used to open mp3 links, now it doesn't

I have a Droid 2, and have used Quickmark for some time as my QR code reader. I used to be able to scan a code and it would open an mp3 file in the audio player but it has now stopped doing that. I get the link in the QR reader, it tries to open the browser, and then it goes back to Quickmark without opening or downloading or streaming the file. Is there a setting in the browser or Quickmark that changes this?
