Question about Advance Task Manager

For those who have this, does the auto kill really save battery? I know there has been tons of debates on how you do/don't need a task manager but I'm just curious about this auto-end feature in this program. And for those who use it, do you recommend it and do you really see any battery difference.

I use it, but not for auto task killing. For the couple days I did use it for auto kill, I never saw anything that would make me believe it helps battery (nor would it make any sense, since battery life has nothing to do with apps in memory).

I still use it to kill all running apps every now and again when Maps and Browser wont release GPS, other than that, it serves no purpose in my life.
