Question about multitouch coming to the Nexus One RE; keyboard

I see maps, the browser and photo gallery are getting it. Awesome and all, sure. But what about the soft keyboard? Id LOVE a native multitouch keyboard. I tent to type too fast and always end upi skipping letters.

PLEASE BRING MULTI TOUCH TO THE SOFTKEYBOARD

This is a very good question...

Thanks, I thought so. A multi touch keyboard is what Im waiting for to possibly pry me away from the chains of a physical one.

Anyone know?

Same here. A multitouch kb may have me considering switching to a N1 when they come to Verizon.

It does, not sure if it did before the update or not.

That's awesome if true. From what I've read, it didn't include it before the update.

Can someone conform this for me? When I say multi touch I mean I can hold down the shift key, hit another and get a capital letter? I dont have to tap the release the shift key then hit a letter to get the cap.

Im really on the verge of taking the plunge when it comes to big red, and this is really important to me.

i've been wondering the same as i didn't see the softkeyboard as part of multitouch. please add this google.

Being left in the dark like this with no estimate on when we'll get 2.1 and these sorts of goodies on the Droid is starting to get a little old.

The Droid army is huge. It would be in Google's best interest to realize that it can easily be turned against it's maker.

There is always smart keyboard. Its multitouch and the keys are better. Its a work in progress cuz no autocorrect yet but its the best so far.
*edit* paid version has dictionary
