Question about Pandora's Radio.

Hey all..my Droid is connected to WiFi..so i just wanted to know if i will get charged for using pandoras radio..i have the unlimited data plan but i just want to know if i switch to wifi ...does it totally turn off the 3g? So i can use my own internet.

Exactly. You're fine to stream however you want without worrying about data usage issues.

Yes, if you switch to wifi, it'll turn off 3g and stream over wifi instead. As mentioned, you shouldn't have to worry about data usage either way and streaming radio doesn't burn as much bandwidth as you might think. I use wifi at home and work where I have fast connections and 3G everywhere else.

I'm curious, how many hours of streaming audio can you get on one charge? My phone pretty much died from full after 4 hours of pandora.

Basically, the 5gb "soft cap" seems to be a common misperception (so long as you aren't tethering) arising from the small print regarding other data-enabled devices.

You know not what you're talking about. No 5 GB limit, no throttling back if you're only using data from your phone. There's a great thread about the misconceptions about data. I think you need to read up on it my friend before posting this as fact, because it's not true.
