Question about wiping battery stats and dalvik cache

When wiping the battery stats and dalvik cache from within clockwork, my phone doesn't appear to do anything when I click yes. When I cleared everything else out (wipe data/factory reset, format boot, format system) you could see it working in the area below the menu. Since they don't appear to do anything I just wanted to make sure that this is the norm, is it?

I noticed the same thing... I believe it just happens fast... either that or it just doesn't give you any kind of confirmation...

I think they're small files and get wiped rather quickly.
