I have the TBH app and downloaded the rooted, deodexed gb leak and i am ready to install. But it says something about must be running leaked 2.3.20 firmware.... where do i get that?

Better yet... has anyone installed this file or version? How did it work and what steps did you take?

I'm running the rooted GB, odexed. It says you need to SBF back to the 2.3.20 but if you're already rooted it's fine. Make sure you wipe cache, data/factory reset, and I also wiped dalvik cache just in case.

Just curious why not the deodexed?

What if I don't like it how would I go back?

I downloaded the regular rooted version first, haven't updated since the reason for the deodexed is to run themes but the only themes for GB are for the DX. To get back you have to SBF, can't restore a backup. Really is easy though, I did it the first time a couple weeks ago, only takes about 15 minutes.
And GB is pretty nice. I hate motoblur and waited to try GB cause I thought I wouldn't like it but alas, I'm still running GB haha.

Coming from Liberty 2.0 am I going to have that issue with the Liberty boot animation still being present?

So you said wipe data and cache?

I'm not sure, I switched my logo and animation back to stock before I flashed and nothing changed. Yep, definitely wipe data and cache before installing the GB zip. If you have a lot of apps I would use Titanium to back them up and restore them. Don't restore data or settings though, only apps! Heard that it messed things up for some people.
