When the Droid X came out, my buddy had lined up a retail employee to sell it to him. After discovering the Costco bundle (and slightly lower price), he called the guy up and told him 'nevermind' and that he was going to Costco instead. The sales associate bent over backwards for my friend, throwing in all kinds of rebates and accessories and even drove to a location closer to my friend in order to make the sale. My question is, does that kind of thing happen frequently because of commission and do you think that's possible with the GNex?
