Question I can't find the answer too

Ok....As I stated in my intro, I'm in kind of a unique situation. I'm working overseas in a country that my phone has no service. I would like to get online with my phone, but we have no wifi. We do have hard wired internet. Is there a way that I can connect my phone to my computer, which is connected to the internet, and get online to download apps to my phone?

Im pretty sure that you cant get internet connections through the usb cord. What i know you can do, is if you can get ahold of the .apk files (the apps themselves) you can manually transfer them to your droid and install them (manually)
