Question re: Samsung Galaxy 3S

I've had this phone for about 5 months now. A few times, I've gotten this semi-circle tab that can be moved around the perimeter of the screen. I don't know how I enabled it, or how to get rid of it and it's annoying. The tab looks like it's shortcuts to various functions - video player, maps, scanner radio, etc. - all choices that can be edited. I want to get rid of it, but have no idea how.

Help?!

That's the multiwindow tab. You can press and drag any two apps on it to use at the same time. To enable or disable just press and hold the arrow button next to the home button.

You can also pull down drop down menu and disable Multi Window. I use it to live stream events and watch twitter feeds for extra information.
