Question...selling my wife's Droid 3....SIM card??

Upgraded my wife to a Droid 4 and plan to sell her Droid 3. I'm curious if anyone knows if I include the SIM card that came with the Droid 3 in the sale or keep it. I know it's only for Global/GSM use.....just don't know if it's something that goes with the phone or should stay with the original owner.

Bump for a good question.

Probably depends if it was ever activated by calling Vzw global dept. My guess is as good as yours.

If it was me I'd probably keep it, but I'm not sure how hard it will be for the next owner to get one.

I now have two D3's with the preinstalled SIM cards, not sure what to do when the time comes...

I'm not sure if the preinstalled SIM ID is attached to the device or the account, again, probably depends if it was ever activated/used by calling vzw global department.

It's probably safe to sell with device if it was never activated

The SIM card is irrelevant to the device, it is used for 2 things. Activating Vodafone's (Verizon) GSM network and storing contacts. You can go to any Verizon corporate store and pick 1 up. And also, anyone buying the phone for global use would probably unlock the SIM anyways to a local carrier while abroad so they didn't have to acquire Verizon's ridiculous global charges.
