Questions about returning my phone

Ok, my charger doesn't stay in the port, plus the screen will randomly turn on in my pocket and activate the touch screen, so I'm thinking about trying to get a warranty exchange on it. Have a few concerns though: First off, the camera buttons nice shiny gold paint has worn off, will this void the warranty? Second I have one minuscule scratch that you can only see under light at an angle, will this effect exchanging it? Lastly the flash on the camera will go off for a split second before a picture but not long enough for it to light up the pic, could this be because of a ROM I used? What do you guys think?

I once returned an Omnia that my dog had eaten partially. I dont think your minor cosmetic stuff will have any impact.

It wasnt the first phone I'd had them replace -- I had the Omnia before they worked out the major bugs. They asked no questions.
