Questions about Walmart

Need to get the wife a new phone. Original Droid finally crapped out. We are on the 1400 minute family plan w/ unlimited everything (text,data) You know, that special that can out on email back in Dec-Jan timeframe. If I renew her contract and upgrade her phone through Walmart (Droid X2 $99.99) will that change my plan and make us loose here unlimited plan? I have no experience with purchasing cell phones through Walmart, only Verizon. Any experienced peeps replies would be great.

You need to contact verizon first. Contact renewals don't have to change the plan, but they can. Before you risk losing that discount, talk to a rep and even have them put a note on the account if they say it's ok to go ahead. Getting that discount added back if it's removed is a gigantic pain.
