The unlocked version of the HTC 10 has already received an update. The update brings the build up to 1.53.617.5. This is still Android Marshmallow and is not really a major update but does bring some important fixes. The camera has been improved and the performance of the camera should be much snappier. Other changes include wifi improvements, and system improvements. Grab the update in your settings now!
