quick task question

I just got my Droid 2 and accidentally assigned the same contact to two of the quick task slots on my home screen. And for the life of me, I couldn't figure out how to change them. I finally resorted to settings > applications > manage applications and cleared all the data in Quick Contact. That allowed me to start over, but there must be an easier way. What am I missing?

im guessing you mean the favorite contact widget?

long press on it and drag it to the trash can and then reput the widget on your screen

Thanks! For some reason I can't explain, when I tried that before it didn't seem to work. but today it works, and that's good enough for me.
