R2D2 Touchscreen - Dead Columns

Hey. I'd much appreciate any kind of guidance on this. My R2 Droid 2 has had these columns of dead zones on the touchscreen for some time but they only seem to be getting worse. I'm sure it's a hardware issue. I wanted to know if there's any way I can get this repaired. I don't know if I want to upgrade as this is a limited edition phone that suits me just fine in all other regards beside this screen issue.
