Last night at work i started having problems with the internet on my Motorola Droid.
at first i had no connection at all. i ended up taking the battery out and trying that a couple times to no avail. then suddenly it started working. so i figured no big deal.
then about 30mins later the internet just started getting really slow. and i mean slow. i opened a facebook page nearly 3 hours ago and it's still not loaded completely. it seems like it's mainly affecting the browser. my twitter app and youtube app seem to be working perfectly fine, but i can't use my browser at all.
also of note, i noticed that randomely on the 'locked' screen it would say
"this phone belongs to:
*insert image of a clock here*
protecetd by antivirus"
and yes, protected is spelt like that.
i'm starting to think it's an app i have, but all i've done is update my current ones recently, i haven't downloaded any new ones.
anyone with any help would be appreciated. while this is more of an annoyance than anything it is just that, an annoyance.
ps. i called verizon, they said it's not their service.
