Random reboot issue during rooting process

I am one of the lucky individuals that is suffering from random Reboots after the OTA. I had been seriously considering rooting my phone finally but now with these random Reboots, I am a little concerned. Does anybody know the effect on my phone if one of these obnoxious Reboots occur during the rooting process?
