I am getting random device resets when I swipe to unlock the phone. Any ideas?

I am new to Droid. What do you mean by bloatware?

Bloatware is apps like Amazon or blockbuster that just hog resources that you can't remove unless your rooted

Do you have either a task manager or antivirus installed? If so uninstall both. Also, when was the last time you restarted your phone (more than the soft reset it does with your problem)?

I have AVG antivirus installed. My last battery pull was yesterday.

Thats most likely going to be your problem, uninstall it. You dont need it, theres a few reason in the first link in my signature if you want to read why.

I will uninstall antivirus and see if the reset goes away. Thank you for your help.

Mine does it wether I have lookout downloaded or not. Hasn't done it lately, I think it's a software thing. I don't run task killers.

I don't have anything downloaded on mine and it still randomly does it once or twice a day.
