Razr charging issues in window dock and AC cable

I was told when I bought my Droid Razr that I would NOT have to replace my Droid X cables, (huge selling/ cost saving issue fir me!) but would need to replace the Auto Window dock. My X charging cables worked fine for about month +, now not charging.

What particularly upsets me is that they no longer fit snugly in the port, but have loosened..also, it oddly charges FINE on my husbands LG Enlighten cable, a much cheaper phone!

Anyone else having loosening cable issues?

Was anyone else told by Verizon sales that their DROID X charge cables would work with the DROID Razr??
