RAZR = Dx2

Just a theory in my head.. but does anyone else think that the razr should have been the dx2?

Sent from my DROIDX using DroidForums

The Razr, Bionic and Dx2 are all basically the same phones. Differences are 4g and screen size. The rest of the specs aren't all that different to me.

All three have different chipsets and features. Hell, dx2 doesn't even have a front camera.

Funny how people just see dual core and think its all the same. Intel, amd, Nvidia? Its all the same, right?

If anything I see Moto dropping the X and just continuing with the Razr. I think the X was supposed to be the "razr" for smartphones, but it always lacked that legendary name. Now that the Razr has arrived, no real reason to keep the x around.

RAZR is not the X at all. Regardless of what is under the hood, having such a light thin phone makes a huge difference. Motorola moved to the next level in design and built quality.

I honestly believe that Moto will be devoting its time into RAZR and DROID lines. I see no reason why they would continue with the DX or Bionic. Moto is going for that thinness factor in their newest phones. Look at the leaked pics of the D4. They may release one more Bionic but I think the DX line is finished.
