Razr/ Mac issue

I just received a replacement Droid Razr, and am having a hard time getting all my data the original one, before I send it back.
When I try to connect to my MacBook, via USB, out quint recognize the connection..thus evetything stored in internal storage is stuck there. I uh ad zero problems previously (in pairing orig/Mac)...but now it won't let me pair old OR new.
Any suggestions??
