There's a nice Hotmail app that is a lot more reliable than trying to use the stock email app for Hotmail. It can sync with your contacts and calendar as well. I'd link it if I wasn't on my phone, but I believe it comes up first when you search Hotmail.

Thank you....I'll check it out....

I'm not sure....how do I find out....

I removed the account and then added it again....still not pushing new messages....

It's probably POP if you had it manually add it.

When adding an account go through the manual settings. pick EAS (Exchange ActiveSync) and fill out everything. server is m.hotmail.com, and that should be all you need. Remember to add the @live or hotmail at the end of your login info and what not.

EAS will push your email. So you'll get it right away.

I've removed your email from your post - this is a large public site, and in case you want to add spam to your inbox, it's typically not a great idea to post it here. :)

If you don't hear back sooner, I'll respond with some instructions later (at work right now), but in the Hotmail App's settings, if I remember right, it's relatively straightforward - I think you basically check (or uncheck) to have your contacts sync with your phone, as well as the calendar.

Menu > Settings > Accounts > Add Accounts > corporate sync > Agree to the terms.

Email Address: Your email address
Password: Your Password
Domain: Leave blank
Username: Your email address. MAKE SURE too add the @live or @hotmail at end.

Click next.

That's it! Click done, and then click on your corporate sync account to click whatever you want. By default calendar, contacts, and email sync. You can also choose how many days for sync messages.

One more thing. Go to your phone book click Menu > display and make sure that they are being displayed.
