Razr Maxx Battery Problem

I've had my RAZR maxx since June, and until today performed great. But today it's draining the battery and was quite warm (105°F). Any ideas as to why?

EDIT: I also haven't used the phone function today despite it saying so.

No, but I've deleted some games to try to speed my phone up. It's been sluggish for a few days.

My Maxx yesterday started to lose battery strength early in the day. It also got extremely warm. It took several hours to reach 100% charge. Today it's doing the same. I'll take it into Verizon today after work.
