razr maxx user, droid forums newbie

i just joined this site and realized i need to get to know my razr maxx on a deeper level. not only that, i did acquire a problem and am looking for a solution.

thank you everyone!

i lost quite a few apps and photos (internal storage) and am wondering how to retrieve them.
novice user, not rooted, ICS, nothin' fancy.

i did notice when connecting to the computer via usb cable to charge, my choice to charge was missing on the phone and i had connected as 'mass storage' instead...?

any/all advice appreciated!

Welcome to the forums! And bless you (sorry, it was the first thing that came to my head when I saw the thread)!

Your apps and photos may still be there. It all depends on what triggered this to happen. When connected to the pc on mass storage, can you find your photos by looking in your pc's file explorer. Keep in mind, when your phone is connected to your pc on mass storage, you are no longer able to see your photos or get to some apps from your phone because they become available only to the pc until you disconnect.
