Has anyone been able to get this app to work with this rom? I have had problems getting it to detect the tv. Any fixes or work arounds would be nice.

I dont think that it will work, because it uses some blur apps (which are not in this rom). I dont think that any blurless roms will work with hdmi output

do we know which blur apps it needs? or parts of blur, it would be nice to restore that functionality.
I'm all for a blur-less rom, but i don't want my phone to be less functional as a result.

Skeet is right it will not work with this rom. The HDMI port on your phone is basically useless with this rom, but IMO the other features of this rom greatly outweigh that. If you really need to use the app you will have to go back to stock or another rom that supports that such as Apex.

Just make a backup of your current setup, then restore to stock to use hdmi like I do then restore back, its quick

Thats what I decided to do. I have several different home screen setups that I like to switch up between (stock, apex, and now liberty). It would be nice if they added support for HDMI and DLNA in the add on section with liberty 1.5 so those of us who want that little bit of blur can access it.

If 1.5 has dlna and hdmi support, it'll be perfect

Just out of curiosity, what are you watching via hdmi from your phone?

I thought it was a kick-ass feature for the X (still do), but besides some home videos of the kids, I don't know why I'd want to hook it up.

I have a windows home server that I dump all that stuff too, then just watch it via ps3 or fios media center crap on my dvr.

I feel like if I ever use it, it'll just be to show off :)
