Reboot required for settings change

I am loving CM7 but my one problem is that for almost any setting change to work I must first reboot. This includes turning 3g on/off, lockscreen adjustments, etc. I am running one of the latest nightlies, is this normal of CM7 or is something wrong with my phone?

^^^ same here, i just got my replacement phone in and i had the same problem. Are you loading your apps with Titanium Backup??

No but I have been meaning too. Strangely though, I got an app called quick settings and turned things on/off there and now it works. (Even outside of app.)

Guys, have you tried fixing permissions in recovery? Rev also has a thing you can try to fix this aswell.
delete /sdcard/Android
wipe cache
fix permissions
^All in clockwork recovery, you must get into it via holding power, clicking recovery, and selecting recovery^
DON'T USE D2 BOOTSTRAPPER

Settings are still not working on GSM mode eventhough fixing permission in recovery. Especially language & keyboard setting and GPS (you can't change other soft keyboards after turning on GSM & reboot, either can't turn on GPS also).
