Recent Handcent update erased all texts

Anyone else experience this?

I updated Handcent a couple days ago when the latest update came out, and every SMS and MMS was deleted. I used MyBackupPro to get some back, but my backup was several weeks old so I lost a lot of stuff. Anyone know of a fix? I'm thinking that crap happens, but if this is kind of normal I will need to make a mental note to backup before updating- probably not a bad idea anyway...

Hmmm...that's odd...I haven't had any problems with lost messages with the old update. I'm also using SMS Backup just in case and back up every few days.

had the same issue today all of a sudden all my text were deleted

i lost mine as well...this is like the 3rd time its happened...and also for like 3 hours texts would pop up and I'd reply to them...but weren't anywhere to be found in there respective threads.
