reception compared to thunderbolt and statosphere?

How is the reception compared to the thunderbolt and stratusphere? I noticed the reception on both the thunderbolt and statusphere are about the same. Can I expect the same from the nexus?

With the new jellybean radios, I'm sure it would be better. Iirc, reception on both those devices were pretty subpar

yeah pretty poor on my thunderbolt. Have to keep using lte off/on to get 4g or restarting it to get 4g. Haven't played around with my dad's stratosphere much. Had to restart his to get 4g though.
Also can everything that can be done on the s3 be done on the nexus?
