Reception problems?

I have two droid 2 globals and I dropped one in orange juice so it now has water damage. Im using my other global and it seems like this one loses 3G an awful lot and alot of times has problems sending texts and receiving signal. The chances of me getting a replacement phone are low. Does anybody have any suggestions ? Would flashing a SBF possibly help?

Try the *228 and option 2. Should update roaming and local towers. Sbf may not help, but is always a last resort.
