If you are a flashaholic then chances are you have been there. When it happens your heart begins to race, and panic begins to creep in. Softbricks can be pretty scary especially when you are dealing with a pricey smartphone. A softbrick is when your device is in a bootloop, but can boot into fastboot or the bootloader mode. If you are in the same situation, but are unable to boot into either fastboot or bootloader mode unfortunately you are in a hardbricked state and your device is pretty much good for nothing other than propping doors open or weighing down paper.
If you have recently updated your Moto G to Android 5.0 Lollipop you will be happy to know that there is now a way to recover from a softbrick. The method does require use of ADB fastboot commands so you will need proper usb drivers and the SDK installed on your PC. You will also need to download the Brazilian Android 4.4.4 file. Head to the link below for the full guide including all of the commands you will need.
