Recurring or continuous voicemail alert?

My wife has a problem of putting her phone in her purse and not hearing it. When she gets a voicemail, it emits the tone and vibrates, but it only does this once. If she still doesn't hear the alert, she won't know she has a voicemail until she actually looks at her phone. Is there some way to make the voicemail alert continue until it is actually acted upon?

I'm curios aboutb this as well. I looked in the market but all I found was visual voicemail apps. I used the fairly popular "Missed Call" application for calls and sms but it doesn't do voicemail. A program like that could be a start.

In theory if you have a VM you have missed a call but sometimes if I have poor signal I get no call showing up and then a VM comes up.

Vibration mode is the notification you can get on noisy areas. But if it does it once it is useless. Have you checked with the manual? Maybe it has a hidden option for keeping the vibration long enough to be noticed.
