Refund from Verizon since other sellers have it for less?

I paid the regular Verizon price, but other retailers have it for less. (For example, Amazon and others have the Pro for 1 cent.)

Has anyone managed to get a refund from Verizon? I'm thinking about returning it to Verizon during the 30-day window to save the $200...

That's about the only way to do it, however be careful as it took my wife almost a week to be able to get her phone through Best Buy after returning hers to Verizon because VZW took their time before putting her account back to 2-year upgrade price standing.

As far as Verizon sees it, you paid extra to have it earlier than the other resellers had it available. Also check, because I'm pretty sure that the Amazon deal is only for NEW customers, not upgrades. I highly doubt VZW will issue you a refund for any amount if you purchased the phone prior to those prices becoming available.

I'm sure VZW will get wise to people trying to do this and will place some types of restrictions on the process because they know that other vendors are already going to beat their prices. Hope it works out for you. Keep us posted.

Watch out for your warranty too. . If u get a bad one and have to replace it .. if its bad within the 30 days it has to go back through Amazon to get a new one rather than walking in a store .. just a heads up
