Regarding Amazon FAOTD Apps...

I've been noticing lately that more and more of the apps being offered are full of permissions that are excessive, and that the paid versions of these apps still contain ads, etc... Would like to warn those who like grabbing these FAOTD's to be careful and do a little research before installing these apps!!

I did do a quick forum search on this and it turned up squat - so if this is a duplicate thread, please let me know, or move it to the appropriate spot

Noticed this as well. For the most part the FAOTD is garbage. Every once in a while they will offer something worthwhile.

Yeah, but you know how some people just look at something and go "OoOoH, Shiny!" and tap the 'download' button, and install without a second thought... :blink:
