Regular emoticons

Hey all

Been looking all over the net but can't find an answer to this....does anyone know how to get regular yellow (like on a blackberry) emoticons...preferably a non-rooted solution for my girlfriend but I can always root her dx if needed...I apologize if someone else has answered this already

does she want them for text messaging? If so, you can get them using handcent app.
