Reinstalling Social Networking on Fission?

So I've rooted my phone and have been happy with all the little tweaks I've made, but as stupid as it sounds I miss the Social Networking app for how you could go into your contacts and do really basic Facebook commands like writing on someone's wall, poking etc. without having to open up the rather unwieldy Facebook app or using the browser to do it. I'm running Fission.

I've downloaded the D2G system dump, found the Friendfeed .apk and .odex files, moved both of them to /system/app, changed their permissions to rw-r--r--, made everything read only again, rebooted my phone so it would install... aaaaaaaand.... nothing.

In Titanium Backup it shows up as com.motorola.blur.friendfeed still in gray letters and crossed out, so it doesn't seem to recognize it as a system app... is that because I'm running Fission and I just can't install this again because I'm not using the stock ROM anymore? And if so, are there any alternative programs that will allow me to use the Facebook connection I have in my contacts to poke people and write on their walls etc. like I want to do? That's really the only reason I'm trying to reinstall this.

Thanks in advance, I feel like I'm missing something really stupid here... :icon_eek:

You will basically need the entire blur framework to get it going because it also needs blur contacts, basically you need stock.

Sent from my DROID2 GLOBAL running Cyanogenmod!!!
